Why is this a 20 amp plug?
The negative contacts are elongated and gold plated for better surface contact needed for a true 20 amp plug. The fuse spring, that is internal to the plug, is extra heavy duty as are the internal terminal parts. Larger wire egress.
Other imported plugs that claim to be heavy duty are really rated at 10 amps and are being misrepresented.
The plug is fused and has a red LED active power indicator light. The contacts are extra heavy gold plated and nickel plated brass. Your wires attach to the plug via solder pads. Large wire opening ( includes wire grommet for small diameter wire).
The plug skirt seals the plug to socket connection from moisture and shorts.
