This socket can be used for both lighting cigarette or for accessories such as GPS, 12 volt chargers or iPods. Works with all lighter plugs and all 12 volt style accessory plugs. Includes the hot pop out lighter plug shown.
This listing is for one lighter socket and plug. The socket has a heavy nylon UV resistant body and a nickel plated core. A vinyl opening cap inserts into the core and snaps over the socket rim to produce a waterproof seal. The socket works with all pop out style hot lighter plugs or with standard accessory plugs. Internal prongs help to keep the plug in place in high vibration applications. The terminals are male 0.250 or 6mm style crimp terminals. The socket mounts into a 1-1/8″ hole. It is rated a 15 amps at 12 volts. Patent pending by 12vtechnology.
The lighter plugs shown is a pop out kind, nickel plated. Operates on 12 volts at 5 amps when plugged into the socket. will get hot in about 60 seconds.
