Socket Mounting Plate Washers 12 Volt Dashboard Power Makes A Freestanding Panel
Washer
allows 12 socket and mounting plates to be unified into a freestanding panel or dash.
12 volt
nylon sockets come with a mounting plate that go in front of the socket and is used
to compress the socket against a panel to hold the socket in place in that
panel. This requires a 1-1/8″ hole to be drilled for
each socket to be mounted. With the
Magic Washer the socket mounts in front of the plate and is held in place with
the socket nut to the plate so the assembly becomes unified. Now the assembly is free
standing and may be mounted as a free standing panel in any size opening. Note the attached assembly drawing of a single
plate and socket assembly using the washer. This same assembly can be used with
double, triple and quad plates as pictured (the plates and socket products are
not included in this listing only the washers).
This listing
consists of two hard washers and two rubber backing washers.
