Now a
locking plug with a waterproof boot to protect the socket / plug combination in
weather. Works with locking sockets or any 12 volt power outlet. LPLG/PBA.
When using a 12 volt plug and socket combination outdoors,
there is a gap between the socket and the plug that is susceptible to water
entry. The plug boot shown slides over this plug as shown. When the plug is inserted
into the power outlet / socket the boot presses up against the socket surface
and forms a seal. No more blown fuses or intermittent operation.
This an
auction for one Marine grade locking plug and plug boot (Socket shown is not included in this listing). The plug will
lock in place with a quarter turn twist when used with the corresponding
locking socket ( see our other listngs). When locked in place the combination
of socket and plug and boot is weather, UV and vibration resistant. Ideal for
boats, ATVs and motorcycles. The plug fits all standard 12 volt accessory cigarette lighter style sockets but will only
lock with a locking socket. Nylon
plastic housing. LED power indicator. Screw terminal contacts. Internal
replaceable fuse. Nickel plated contacts – marine grade. Weather resistant
rubber seals. Vibration resistant when used with the locking socket. Nominally
rated at 10 amps.
Fits all
standard 12 volt accessory lighter sockets but will only lock with a locking
