This is a kit of a weatherproof female socket The socket is marine grade and is weather resistant, the opening has a vinyl cap and the contacts are protected by a slip on vinyl boot with a egress for the wires. The contacts are nickel plated. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8″ hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut or for a thicker panel with the compression plate. Rated at 15 amps. Draws no power when not in use.

Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug as shown. Check our other auction if you need a locking plug or right angle mount. A locking plug looks like a regular male lighter plug but when twisted in this socket can not be pulled out easily, unless twisted again.
