This is a kit of one female socket with cap, rubber sealing washer, right angle vinyl cover/boot, and 60 in. fused wiring harness also known as a loom.
The socket is heavy duty marine grade. It is very weather resistant with the sealing socket opening cap and the slip on contact boot. The contacts are nickel plated. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1 1/8″ hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. It can be mounted against a panel or mounting bracket with the retaining nut up to 1-1/4″ thick or to thicker surfaces with the compression plate provided. Rated for 15 amp at 12 volts DC.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style 12 volt plug.
Not for hot lighter use.
The wire harness or loom is 60 inches, has flag female quick connects to plug into the socket, ring terminals to attach to your battery and a automotive style blade waterproof fuse holder and a 15 amp fuse. Easy to hook up with red for positive and black for negative.
