The male and female snap together to produce an anti vibration proof connection. The male covering skirt keeps the connection splash proof. A vinyl opening cap keeps the female receptacle dry when not in use.

The female has brass and beryllium copper contacts with standard 0.250 spade type terminals in a heavy nylon body. The vinyl terminal boot covers the wire connections to keep them dry. Comes with two female crimp connectors. The female mounts in a “1-1/8″ hole. The length of the socket is 1.5″ from the inside flange face to the tip of the male terminals. With the mounting plate and screws the socket can be mounted against a panel of unlimited thickness. The socket is rated for 12 amps at 12 volts DC. The socket weight is 0.9 oz
The male is of high quality all brass and Bakelite construction and a screw terminal wire connections. The male comes with a plug skirt that seals the connection when the plug is inserted in the socket.
