This socket can be used for both lighting cigarette or for accessories such as GPS, 12 volt chargers or iPods. Works with all lighter plugs and all 12 volt style accessory plugs. (The lighter plugs shown are not included in this listing. See listing 110974981606 for a plug and plug boot.).
This listing is for one lighter socket which has a heavy nylon UV resistant body and a nickel plated core and an inline waterproof ATO fuse holder with 15 amp fuse. A vinyl opening cap inserts into the core and snaps over the socket rim to produce a waterproof seal. The socket works with all pop out style hot lighter plugs or with standard accessory plugs. Internal prongs help to keep the plug in place in high vibration applications. The terminals are male 0.250 or 6mm style crimp terminals. The socket mounts into a 1-1/8″ hole. It is rated a 15 amps at 12 volts. Patent pending by 12vtechnology.
The fuse holder has a 16 AWG wire loop 8″ and a tight fitting cap to cover the 15 amp fuse.
