Make your own custom harness/loom for RV, Boat, Motorcycle-Now includes a straight rubber wire boot to protect the wire terminal connections from water and weather. This makes the socket even more resistant to the environment for more reliable operation.
Kit allows you to wire the socket to your battery with a fuse and a wire harness length of desired length.
This is a kit includes a female socket assembly with wire terminal boot, 6 feet ( 72″) of black and red wire. Also includes, waterproof fuse holder and fuse, two 1/4″ ring type connectors for battery terminal connection, two butt splice connectors to connect fuse holder, two quick .250 female spade quick connects that mate with the socket, and an assortment of cable tie wraps to secure the wires.
The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The contacts are nickel plated brass and the socket body is a heavy body.. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions. It requires an 1-1/8″ hole for mounting and has .250 quick male connectors. Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts DC.
It can be mounted in two ways, against a panel up to 1-1/4″ thick with the retaining nut or for a thicker panel with the compression plate. Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug.
