This is a highest quality female socket kit The socket is weather and UV resistant. The rubber cap seals the front of the socket. The body is extra heavy duty for strength. The contacts are nickel plated brass. The socket is a true locking socket- works with all 12 volt style plugs and a locking plug. Rubber mounting washer seals the panel opening and improves the assemblies vibration resistance. It requires an 1 1/8″ hole for mounting and has .250 quick male spade type quick connectors. Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts. Weight 1 oz. Draws no power when not in use so it can’t run down your battery.
It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut for panels up to 1-1/4″ thick. The socket is 2 inches long from the flange face to the tip of the connectors.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style plug.
Not for hot lighter use.
