This is a high quality female socket kit The socket is weather and UV resistant. The cap seals the front of the socket. The body is heavy duty for strength. The contacts are nickel plated. The socket is vibration resistant. Rubber mounting washer seals the panel opening and improves the assemblies vibration resistance. It requires an 1 1/8″ hole for mounting and has .250 quick male spade type quick connectors. Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts. Weight 1oz. Draws no power when not in use so it can’t run down your battery.
Wire harness is fused for 10 amps and is 60 cm. With ring terminals and female spade disconnects.
It can be mounted against a panel with the retaining nut for panels up to 1-1/4″ thick.
Works with any standard cigarette lighter style plug.
Not for hot lighter use.
