The socket body is a heavy nylon with all nickel plated parts. The weatherproof cap snaps over the front of the charger to keep moisture out when not in use. A connector boot covers the terminals when in the socket to prevent moisture intrusion. The socket has 0.250 male spade type terminals for easy wire connections and comes with matching female connectors.
This charger is rated for 4.8 Amp at 5 VDC and can accept two USB devices. Built in semiconductor technology allows this high quality charger to produce a constant 5 Volt source required to charge and protect the batteries of your accessories regardless of the 12 volt source.
